The Alignment Tool

May 26, 2025

Hey Clawson Family!

Scripture:

“Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.”— Psalm 119:105 (NLT)

Devotional:

Think about how frustrating it is to walk in the dark without a flashlight. That’s how many people are trying to navigate life—without the Word of God guiding their steps. God’s Word is not just spiritual decoration; it’s our divine level, our GPS, and our compass for truth. If we want our minds aligned with His, we start with what He’s already said.

When your thoughts feel chaotic or your emotions are driving the wheel, come back to the Word. It doesn’t just inspire—it aligns, corrects, equips, and brings clarity. The same way a car needs to be aligned after drifting, our minds need to be realigned with God’s truth regularly.

Journal Questions:

  • In what areas of life do I feel most "out of alignment"?

  • How often do I intentionally let the Word of God guide my decisions?

Challenge:

Spend 10 uninterrupted minutes today reading Romans 12. Ask God to highlight a specific verse to realign your mind.

Prayer:

God, thank You for giving me Your Word as a light and a guide. Help me to stop trusting my emotions or culture as the compass and return to Your truth as the standard. Align my mind with Yours.

In Jesus' name, amen.
