“My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me.”
Reflection:
Passion without direction can lead us into danger. Boldness without knowledge of God’s heart can do more harm than good. Throughout history, people have acted in the name of God but against His nature. Being bold for Jesus means being led by His Spirit, not just our zeal.
Journal Questions:
• Have I ever spoken or acted boldly in a way that didn’t reflect Jesus’ character?
• What am I doing to grow in the knowledge of God so I can represent Him well?
Challenge:
Spend 15 extra minutes each day in the Word this week. Let boldness grow out of intimacy with God, not just emotion or urgency.
Prayer:
Father, I want to be bold for You, but I also want to be wise. Teach me Your ways so I can represent Your heart with accuracy and love. Let my passion be grounded in truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
