Choose Your Frame
Scripture:
Numbers 13:33 (NIV)
“We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.”
Devotional:
Twelve men saw the same land—but two saw victory and ten saw defeat. The difference? Their frame. Your frame is how you interpret what you see, and it determines your faith level. You may not be able to change the facts, but you can change the frame. Are you focusing on giants or grapes? On fear or on faith?
If your frame is “I’m not enough,” you’ll miss every opportunity God gives you. But if you reframe with the truth—“God is with me and He is enough”—you’ll walk forward with confidence. The way you choose to view your day, your circumstances, even yourself, can either keep you stuck in the wilderness or propel you into promise.
Journal Questions:
What is my current “frame” for the challenges I’m facing?
How would God reframe that same situation?
Challenge:
Reframe one frustrating situation today by speaking a faith-filled truth over it instead of a negative narrative.
Prayer:
God, I don’t want to be stuck in fear. I choose to reframe my perspective through Your truth. Help me see what You see and believe what You say. Even when I face giants, I’ll choose to frame them through the lens of faith.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
