Get in the Plane

September 17, 2024

Hey Clawson Family!

Song:

Scripture:

Psalm 125:1 New Living Translation

1 Those who trust in the Lord are as secure as Mount Zion;    they will not be defeated but will endure forever.

Ecclesiastes 4:12 New Living Translation

12 A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.

Devotional:

Today I am daring you to have faith, to trust what God says, to get in the plane. And that will mean something different to every person. All of us are at different stages in our journey of faith.

Some of you may have yet to experience God and discover who he is, what it would mean for you to get in the plane today would be for you to open up your heart, open up your ears, and allow God to reveal himself to you, and as he does to give your life to him today.

But many of you have experienced God, and you have recently given your life to God, but you have not gotten connected yet, you haven't found your people yet, and what getting in the plane should mean for you is that you need to get connected to your people.

You are powerful with your people, so get in the plane, get connected.

Some of you need to take the next step of developing and maturing your faith. You have experienced God, you have found your people, but you are not growing, developing, and changing. You are still working with the same measure of faith that you were 10 years ago and getting in the plane for you means allowing God to lead you into something that is going to stretch you and mature you.

Some of you need to put your faith into action. God is going to show you what you are called to do and ask you to step into it. You getting into the plane is actually stepping into the thing that God has created you to do.

Whatever stage you are at. Today the challenge is to get in the plane

Journal:

Write down, a few of the big, maybe unbelieveable dreams you have for your future. Then, write next to them the seeds you can plant in faith. Finally, commit your seeds of faith to God.

Training:

God, You are so incredibly good and faithful. Your ability to multiply our smallest efforts is immeasurable. We can barely begin to comprehend the width and depth of Your love and

plans for us. We trust You. Give us faith to plant the seeds You want us to plant.

Amen!
