Hey Clawson Family!

Scripture: 

Matthew 7:24–25 (NLT)“Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock… it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock.”

Devotional:

Life will bring storms — hardship, temptation, confusion, loss. The difference between being destroyed or standing strong is what your life is built on. Jesus tells us that stability comes not just from hearing the Word but from applying it. A made-up mind says, “No matter the weather, I’m staying on the Rock.”

It’s not about avoiding storms — it’s about being unmoved in them. When your mind is made up to follow Jesus no matter the cost, He becomes your unshakable foundation. Stability doesn’t come from perfect circumstances, it comes from a resolved heart.

Journal Questions:

1. What is currently shaking my peace?

2. Is my mind made up to follow Jesus, even when it’s uncomfortable?

3. What would it look like for me to build on the Rock in this season?

Challenge:

Spend 10 minutes today reflecting on one Scripture that reminds you of God’s faithfulness. Meditate on it until it becomes the rock beneath your feet.

Prayer:

Jesus, I want You to be my foundation. Help me to not just hear Your Word but build my life on it. When storms come, let my faith stand strong because my mind is made up. Amen.
