This guide will help you feel confident and ensure that your flagging blesses both you and those around you!
🎏 Worship Flagging – How to Prepare & Flow in Worship! 🙌🔥
Hi there! We’re so excited that you want to use flags in worship! 🎉 It’s such a beautiful and powerful way to express praise and surrender to God. This guide will help you feel confident and ensure that your flagging blesses both you and those around you! 💖
👇 Here’s what to expect:
📅 Before Sunday – You’ll receive the setlist ahead of time so you can listen, pray, and get the songs in your spirit. This will help you engage more deeply and flow with confidence! 🎶🕊️
🎏 Posture of Worship – Flagging isn’t a performance—it’s worship. Your heart posture matters most! Use this time to connect with the Lord and usher in His presence.
⏳ Sunday Morning Run-Through – We ask that you come early to get a feel for the set’s flow, find your position, and ensure your flag movements align with the worship atmosphere.
📍 Awareness of Space & Positioning – You’ll typically be positioned on stage right near the worship room, but placement may shift. Be flexible and mindful of space so you can move freely without distractions.
🌊 Flowing with the Worship – Flags are an extension of worship! If a song is soft and reverent, let your movements be gentle and graceful. If it’s a song of victory, bold and energetic motions can emphasize that message!
🤝 Respect for Others – Worship styles vary, so be mindful of those around you. If you sense someone is uncomfortable or distracted, it’s okay to adjust your movements. The goal is always to glorify God and build up the body of Christ.
💡 Pro Tips Before You Flag:
✅ Be intentional – Let every movement be an act of worship! 🎶🔥
✅ Prepare well – Spend time with God as you listen to the setlist and pray. 🕊️
✅ Stay flexible – Be open to positioning adjustments for the best worship experience. 💫
✅ Trust the Spirit – Don’t overthink—just worship! Let the Holy Spirit lead you. 🙏
We can’t wait to see how God moves through you in worship! If you have any questions or want to practice together, feel free to reach out. See you at the Sunday morning run-through! 🎏🙌
